The series ?Hydrometeorological extreme events? takes a holistic view current efforts and strategies to improve the assessment of vulnerability and risks, and to develop adequate prevention, mitigation and preparedness measures against the increasing threat from these natural disasters. This sixth book in the series covers both policy and scientific views documented in three major international research projects funded by the European Union Horizon22 Framework Programme.
