In this practice-oriented reference book, the basics of blockchain technology are presented and the reader learns where and how he can usefully apply this technology in business processes. This includes a stakeholder analysis as well as a review of the envisaged case by means of the so-called Blockchain Decision Path. In addition, the core concepts as well as the roles to be filled according to the technology are presented. Katarina Adam has been teaching blockchain use case development at HTW Berlin since 2016 and organises the annual Blockchain@HTW conference. She is the founder of the start-up SimLinck and advisor to several blockchain-based start-ups.
